Our boys soccer program ends their sectional run with a zero to three defeat to Seymour in the sectional final. After a tightly contested 1st half, Seymour found a breakthrough early in the second half. "That was a backbreaking moment" coach Colin Bell said. "There was a feeling that whoever found the back of the net first was going to win the match." As the match wore on, Jeffersonville pushed more numbers forward looking for an equalizer, they left themselves more exposed in the back. Seymour was able to capitalize in the final minutes of the match scoring two in the last ten minutes. Bell reflected on the week, "Tonight we were second best. These boys poured everything into the past week. We ran out of steam and could not keep up the intensity for the entire eighty minutes." Jeffersonville ends their season with six wins, eleven losses, and two draws. Jeffersonville will be graduating nine seniors from the sectional runner-up team.
